ok since the converter just skips 4 pins or so in the middle just worrie about getting that cartrage facing the right way most noacs have the pins written on them nummbered 1-30 and 31-60 the cart sould face towards the 1-30
the pins on myne are not labled but when I put in the bord from inside gyromite I but it in with the side that was faceing the sticker up and it worked in my drawing I assumed that famicom bords face the same way in the cart as that one did
Hey sence I got my stuff form Gannon finally (thanks again), I was courious about how to make sure the NES works. I tested it with two carts I had handy and the most I got out of them were a colored screen, and this is just one color like instead of black its a dark maroon. Any help would be great.

If I remember correctly, it so happens that the Famicom cart and the NES cart have roughly the same shape, but the size and side the label is on are different. What that means is, you'd want the NES cart to have the label facing the opposite way from what a normal Famicom cart would be. Or am I totally off-base here? It's been a long time since I've messed with this stuff.
just look at the missing pins on the nes cart and the pins that the adapter removes, there are an uneven number of pins on each side of the missing pin, and for telling which side goes up, see where the ground on the nes cart is and the ground on the slot on the NOAC!
