You could possibly find the correct corresponding traces and scrape the green crap of'em and solder each pin to it. Although I assure you that it WONT be very secure.

EDIT: do you have a pic of the motherboard?

You might have killed the SNES. I think the SNES has traces in the middle of the board you can't see (there is name for it, but I can't rember it in my current state), that are near the contoller ports. But you might not have cut into them and it could still work. Just so you know.

Well hook the snes up to a video or audio source. (Even just hook up a speaker to the audio out on the board directly) See if you can hear/see something when you play a game. If you didn't fry it, that would be cool to be able to cut 1/2 - 1 inch off your board.

...

You have the cart slot attached right?

i think you are crap outta luck here, maybe it would be best to just buy a new snes and be more careful.

Well wire the cart slot back on. Although it probably is dead, it's something to do while waiting for another one.

Well i had another snes mini so gona start on that one.. i had already moved the cart slot in last one so i was on last step of putin controler on it /suck
I found an easy way to remove old cart slot and solder on new one and use ide cables so wasnt a complete loss!

Thought the little silver dots on the board under each controller connector would work but no werky.

This was the 3rd snes mini ive used now i need a 4th snes mini (one completed while ago, 1 messed up cart moving, 2nd no boot for some reason, 3rd the controller screw up)
Gona make 2 that can connect together via ethernet cord for 2player action!
