a little help please

Post by Gen masho »

I have recently started on making a PSoneP and would like to build it into the origional case, only problem is that when i was desodering the parts i broke(horrablely) the lid sensor, how would i go about making a new one, also is there enough room to mount the PSone screen into the lid or would i need to mod that as well , i already have the button layout figured out, if you would like to see concept art let me know and tell me if my design is possable or not.

I don't have a PS1 to look at, but if the lid sensor only has 2 wires running to it, twist them together.

simple enough...

if you had an extra lid you could canibalise that and stick it ontop

i don't know what one looks like so i don't know if it would be easy to fix and have the lid activate it, but you could put a switch on the 2 wires and switch it when you need to open it

The LCD board won't fit inside the lid, atleast not the sony screen. It's around 1 inch too big.
