I was thinking today about the controller for my GCp. I wanted it to be a split controller, but I thought that would be pretty difficult, so I tried to think of another way, and I think I've thought of something.
I want to take 2 GC controllers apart, and use one for the Joy stick and D-pad, R button and another for all of the other buttons except start. I thought I could solder the 5v in from GC Controller 2 (buttons A, B, X, Y, L) to the 5v in from GC controller two, and also solder the traces from #2 over to the board on #1. The was I think this will work, is that power will be going to the second controller, which would send data from buttons A, B, X, Y, and L over to the other controller, which would think that it was it's own buttons.
Maybe I could also cut off the A, B, X, Y, and L button side after I was done.
Think it will work? Maybe I'll try to find some pinouts later today.
