
The completed drive. I've got wiring nearly to the edge of the opening, so it was filled in with hot glue for insulating, then cut and sanded smooth. There wasn't time or room to do a plexi window.

His custom label. The clear sealant is still drying, so it looks worse than it is. Too bad this is the only photo op I have.

When I do labels, I do labels right.
It's a 120 gb Samsung SATA drive. There's a USB/IDE/SATA adapter in there. It's stripped down, and hard-wired to the drive itself.
EDIT: I had to take it apart since the HDD died. I put in a new 160 gb Seagate SATA drive. (5 yr Warranty FTW!) I thought I'd post a pic of the insides for everyone's amusement. It may look like crap from the inside, but it came apart and went back together without me having to redo anything, so I'm happy with it.
