Both of these are the same, so pick the one that makes more sense, and there you go, power for a nes...

Alright, That one with the picture worked. Thanks, that helped. So I need to... Have the wire taped to both the things on both sides? (+and -) right?

Like 2 wires taped into the - and 2 taped into the +

Just connect all the positives and put them togeather. Then collect all the negitives and put them togeather.

Ok. I just got the plug cut and got the copper wire exposed.

Which one is negative? The one with the white on the cord or the one without?

The bare wire should be negative.

Bare? sorry i dont know all the electronic talk. Do you mean the plain black one?

Do they both have a plastic covering on them? If so the black one is +. If only one of them has a plastic cover then the exposed (Or "bare") one is -.

They both have a covering, because I cripped it off of an ac-adaptor.

hmm....I think the black one would be negative, but don't hold it to me :)
If all else fails you can use a multimeter to check for continuity.
