My Gamecube Portable is 98.9% complete

Post by wizsoto »

I've been working on this for at least 2 months since I stumbled on this site. My WGCP "Wizcorps Gamecube Portable" (little cheesy I know) has a PS1 LCD w/led mod,a split controller,a GBA player (which I can play NES games through flash cards) and it can be configured to play as a astandard GC w/A/V output and 2 controller ports. I had 4 Li-poly 3.7 2200 mah batteries for it but I accidentally shorted out 2 of them and now I'm waiting for the replacements, hence the 98.9%. I'll put some pics up as soon as I figure out how.

I wen't the easy (cheap) way and used tupperware. I just stumble upon the perfect container in a 99 cent store. The GC fits perfect in it.

Here are the pics. The start button is in front with the GBA cart slot and the PS1 screen speakers. At the back there is the exhaust fan, above that the screen on/off for standard use, to the right of that is the power input and the two telco jacks for the battery input. On the top is the PS1 screen the GC on/off led and the on/off switch. The right side has the A/V output and a headphone jack. On the left side there is the mem card slot and the controller ports with the controller select switch for standard use, switch to the back for the ports and to the front for the integrated controller. The integrated controller is fully functional including rumble (but it is disable to conserve battery power).
