hey just opend a snes original (not mini) *after 1 1/2 hrs of xacto cuts and pliering* and the mobo doesnt come out?! i got a bunch of screws out like the cart connector the back of the board etc. i feel resistance somewhere in the middle of the board near the cart connector but i dont see screws i also see on certain spots of the board *upsidown* screws. thx 4 ur help

I think I know which screw you are talking about. If you are trying to save the case try checking under the stickers (I didn't find which one it is under). If you are not going to save the case (like me) keep breaking the bottom apart until you get to the screw post that holds the mobo in place then snap the post. I think you might have an integrated sound processor on your SNES. Lucky You!
I'm thinking the SNES with hidden screws does have the onboard sound processor, the one with easier to find screws does not.
