wow! i think removing it was the easy part! i can admit that the heat gun method does in fact work :D and i am about halfway done witht he wiring part of the job Image

Looking good. For me removing the cart slow was the hardest part. Re-soldering was a breeze.

thanks :D damn that was a lot of work, took me a few hours last nighyt plus about 2 today, i think around 4 hours total :shock: i think it was worth it tho

I also relocated mine a day ago... its a lot of work, but will make the portable that much better.

whats another way to have the cardtrige slide down the back without javing to desolder the cart slot

he meant solder to the leads on the bottom of the board from the cart slot
