L And R button question

when making the portable snes systems from the book it doesnt talk about the L and R buttons. are they there?

They are around the cart port area, but it really depends on which one your making. If in the book section for the Hand-made, you see a picture of some engraving plastic with a tact switch on the rear plate, that would probably be it. If making the CNC handheld, just look at the back.

i don't know where they are in the book because i don't have it, but i know how to wire them. what do you need to know about them?

my nephew plans to build it for me. he is going to make the pcp and the other version in the book. but he asked me where the R and L buttons

are located. i see the cpc version but on the other one. does theother version have the L and R buttons on it as well
