psone on a laptop?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

psone on a laptop?

Post by gini »

I am moving to a small remote place for the summer. They have electricity and washrooms. I will be taking my laptop. Is it possible to hook up a psone to a laptop and use the screen as a monitor?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1100. I'm not much of a computer person so I have no idea what kind of specs my laptop has. How can I find that out? How do these emulators work?

you can go to dell.com and look around, they have some part of their webpage that scans your computer and gives you your computer's specs. I used it once before, long, long ago.

As for a controller, get something like the Gravis Gamepad Pro, or one of those Playstation-USB converters. (It's not fun playing Crash 2 or Gran Turismo, among others, on the keyboard!)

Yeah, keyboard gaming sucks for anything (all I play are GameBoy games, and I hate it), I'm going to be making one of those Playstation-computer converters someday.
