Hmm ok so I'm trying to make a plug for my rol panel I've extended
For some reason I cannot turn the 360 on with the button anymore, I have to press the eject button to turn on the console.
I've rewired it several times, with the original plug and a 9 pin plug.
I'm using IDE Cable, I seem to have bad luck whenever I use it.
It does light up, though, so I'm guessing it's ok to use this kind of wire -
So does anyone know which pin(s) on it actually power up the console?
weird ROL problem...

Seems it was touching those grounds had the same problem it was just that you probally made a mistake and acciedently touched the board to a ground source resulting in a shorted board.. mines i couldnt even connect a controller. just replace it .... theres no fix Fyi if want a power button use the grnd power activate pin on the power plug .
