nah, you gotta go by what the adapters say for the input and multiply that by 110, I believe.

Then thats 120(volts) * 3(amps) = 360(watts)

Note veries a lil as voltages go from 110 to 120 so it can be less.

well, I think the input is what you wanna go for, since I have a hard time imagining the whole think being 360 watts. My brother's PS2 takes 79 watts, not screens shouldn't take much either (maybe 30 watts or the both of them, tops)

hmmm, maybe the 60 watt wasn't a great idea (though the PSX doesn't take much, I guess)

So would the 400 watt do the job? So I would be able to swap the ps1 with the ps2 if need be, while still being able to use both screens?
Still no luck with finding a 400 watt for a cheep price. :D

I've ran a PS2 and a normal CRT tv (9") on a 360 watt, so I think 400 should work

I posted the power pinout for the psx in a different thread. If you're just using a lcd screen with it I'd say get some dc-dc converters or voltage regulators.
They'd probably cost as much as the dc-ac converter, but they'd be smaller.

Sparkfist, the Playstation doesn't use 3A at 120V.

125W should be plenty. Each screen takes 0.5A at 12V, so 12W for two. Add that to the rated power consumption on the back of the Playstation. That's the size of the inverter you need.

Ok so then i'm just going to stick with the 400 Watt power inverter just to be safe.

Just an update I decided to go with an 140 Watt intec power inverter. I hooked everything up (using a PS2 instead of PS1 incase I ever wanted to put that in) and everything worked fantastically. Expect pictures soon.
