just finished the GCp mkII and it is much better than my first. the controls are fantastic, the case lookd much better and now has a disc cover i really dont mind the massive thickness that it added though because i think it made it look pretty good, and i got rid of that damn memory card portB that pisses me off so much . the only thing thta really bothers me is the charge jack because it made it hard to close the unit without going in and sanding a bunch of crap (i was stupid and didn'nt think before i drilled the hole), well here it is and hope you guys enjoy
That's a really sweet looking case. Any other things done to improve it?

I like that case more than gamelvers >_> (sorry gamey don't kill me ) Man turbo that thing rocks my socks and shoes! I might steal it from you so keep it in a safe at night . EDIT: I just can't express how much I like it! So yeah im still going to copy your case except make it black!
With each new case, I can see your vaccuum forming skills increase. Soon you'll be as good as dkap! Keep it up. Oh, and I kinda like that protruding bulk in the back.

wow, that's a nice portable sequal! The thickness shouldn't bother you too much fortunatley because of the good postitioning of the gamecube. Great job!

yeah i stuck some 5600ma li-polys inside but that is about it
thanks for the comments guys i spent a lot of time on this case but some of the bondo is still a little rough in the hard to reach places. hopefully next case i can make it a little better in the bondo portion
EDIT: the 7808 gets really really hot, to the point i can feel the heat through my case, does anyone know if they make DC-DC convertors that are suitable for psone screens that can take 14.4 volts
Man, Turbo, that case is hott! Nice job, I see you are getting very good with the bondoand vacuum forming. Keep up the good work. May the portable force be with you
check out the PTN78000w at TI, but there are also other ones that might be more suitable (hint: look in the datasheet how efficient they are at your required voltage... pick the most efficent one)...
nope it looks fine now and i left the cap jumped in the back it is noticeable when brightness is cranked up but i think that it washes the colors out to much when i do that
