I did it! Handmade CNC Machine. Need Plates?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

I did it! Handmade CNC Machine. Need Plates?

Post by scherubino »

I finally finished it. I've been building a CNC machine with plans I got on Ebay for $28. It's done and I can't believe it actually works. Here' s the photo. Now I'm going to make CherryBombs in bulk!

I'll also cut plates for any of you guys (within reason) if you send me a vector file and the materials. I'm charging $25 for each job - I need to support my hobby. You understand.

are these plans purchasable on eBay still? I like the idea, but if you have the plans scanned into the computer already, could you please forward these to me? (PDF format preferred)

sorry guys. the plans are good and the designer deserves better than handing out free copies. We're only talking $28.

Wow, congrats man! Thats pretty neat that you built one of those :) And thanks for the generous price for people that want to cut out the parts for their portable. I'm surprised Ben hasn't made one of these, it would have saved him a lot of money

Thanks. I'm guessing Ben has an "in" with a CNC operator, as he hints to in his book. He also uses laser engraving - I wish I could built one of those!
