DS custom case

Post by totokan »

Yeah, I broke a DS. I got all the parts for repairs except a case. Anyone have any ideas for a simple case or where to get a good one? xboxrepairguide is out, and ebay only has broken ones.
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

You should make a case that does not flip (IE: it is all on one flat surface)

That would be too big. Especially since the boards are split anyways...

Okay, here's a not-so-simple idea: A slider instead of a clamshell.

well, i'm getting the cable part that broke replaced soon and i'll end up getting a new case anyways, so I figured, heck why not a custom one?

That would be awesome. You could have the touch screen hidden under the normal screen for when you play gba games, and slide out for the ds games.

These are the only DS mods I've ever seen. They are only cosmetic though. I guess there's not a lot to change on it.
