Aaargh where's my red?

Post by sammy »

I connected my screen to my Genesis today and everything works really great except for one thing... My screen does not show the color RED! It also shows to much yellow and orange but no red! I checked my red channel (from RGB) before but I don't see any problems there. When I play Second Samurai and it shows the logo it becomes all yellowish.

It has to be like that but instead the red becomes yellow also!

Yes it does.

As for the screen problem. It sounds like you might have a weak connection. You have yellow and orange so red is present. Check the connection and see if there is any resistance, that could be the source of the problem.

I got rid of the capacitors and now everything works fine. Apparently my screen already had the capacitors build in  .
