Wow! I never expected be putting out an NOAC along with the release of Ben's. Well for now it looks pretty good. Next Friday Ben will crush it on tv.
Heres a pic playing Super Mario Brothers (or Super Mario Land, or wait... I don't know what the title is to this one).
And one of DIG DUG!!!
This portable was built for a friend. I was going to finish my bondoformed project first, but he already had all of his parts ready for me to start. As you can see there are some gaps where the Psone hinge used to be. I plan on cutting some pens in half and filling in those gaps. Its funny, because this is the smallest portable I have ever built, and its going to be huge compared to Ben's NOAC. Anyway, my friend wanted it to be as small as possible with a 5 inch screen. I think I made it pretty small given the circumstances.

Holy god thats awesome!!! I want one! does it have a cart slot? What kind of battery does it use? I'd pay like 60-80 bux + cost of parts for on of those. Also, how long did it take to build?

Genius! I thought of putting the controlls in the hinge part, but not the speaker holes WoW! Wait, does that mean you don't have sound? Or do you just have a headphone jack somewhere?
And how did you fit the NOAC inside the case? I didn't think there was any empty space...
You're really on a roll here! You definetly need added to the LPC
Hi,
Thanks for the comments. Yes this portable required some hand seals, human sacrifices, and the will of the Bondo Gods. It uses the principles of my bondoform technique but the true test (which I am working on) is to make a complete case out of bondo. As for the speakers I put one in the back. This one has no cart slot but one can be easily added (I had the idea of having it slide down the back of the Psone screen. My friend didn't have any carts so he didn't want/need a slot.). As for the battery it uses an RC car battery (I use the same battery on all my portables. Its my trusty Dyna-Sport 1500 ahh how I miss my RC racing days *flashbacks*.). And it took me all week (I worked on it a lot too, so if I worked at a normal pace, and not like a maniac it would have taken about 2 and a half weeks.)

Wow! Thanks G-force! You guys heard it from the man himself! Man, what an honor.
Now to fix my banner, and get a website for it to link to.
Thanks again,

Amazing noac portable! I've been waiting to see more cool NES designs like this. You really did an amazing job, I'm surprised if you worked normally it would only take you 2 weeks...so far I've been working on mine for like 3 months and still isnt done Nonetheless...keep up the good work and may the bondo gods give me some of your bondo goodness techniques
