Type of wire to use

Hi I have been getting the supplies together to build a portable NES and I have a question. What type of wire should I use when I connect the components together? Also where can I find this wire? Thanks in advance!

You can use stranded wire and the wire itself can be found virtually anywhere, use the extra wire from the NES if you feel so inclined. It doesn't matter...

ribbon cable from a computer'll work. that's what most people do
