for powering the 64 and the Psone screen is there any way you can use the 5v on the AV pinout to power the Psone screen through a voltage regulator???

or is that some completely random Idea????
P.S. What does that 5 volts do??? (according to the A/v cable nothing

the 5v is just for fixing it if it would happen to stop working. it needs 7.2v-9v to work, you can't power it with 5v (unless you use a step-up regulator)

the 5V is supposedly needed for some screens to accept the signal or something like that (not to power the screens, though). you could possibly use the 5V, along with a resistor, to power the LEDs for a PSone backlight mod. if you don't have anymore questions, I'm lockifying this...
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
