I have finally come up with a project. I am going to build an nes
*cough* emulator *cough* out of a computer, but i am going to put the computer components in an old nes case like these guys did http://www.junkmachine.com/forum/kb.php ... ticle&k=11
I'm going to do what those guys on the link did except instead of making the controller ports the mouse and keyboard ports i'm going to leave them controller ports and hack them to run of a parallel port. It should be cool
I hope i explaned everything right. The only problem i have is that i cant remember the site i was on the told you how to hack a nes controller to work on a pc so could you post your links. Oh yeah and i dont want the hack to the pc end a usb i want one to make it go to a parallel port.
my project

I remember seeing this, the website is different from when I was there last.
I'd say if you can get the lid of the nes to open/close with the cd/dvd-rom tray opening/closing you have something quite awsome. Also dont be cheap and have half the computer's guts hanging out the back.

I think you mean this.
I was thinking of doing something like that, but I figure that I'd rather make a controller box for my pc that allows nes, snes, playstation, and n64 controller support for my emulators
