is ther a good easy box i can use for a case

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

what are you building?

*EDIT*

I just saw in the other forum that you're making a NOAC-based portable. In that case you can go to RadioShack and get a "project enclosure" that is a plastic box with a removable lid.
Current Project=???, N64 PE, SNES PE

Tackle boxes I think are the easiest, then just paint them with krylon to make them look cool when you are done, and to carve them just use a dremel are a wood burner and melt it

VHS tape cases are cheap and easy to find at pawn shops, thrift stores, etc. Although they are made out of polypropolene (like tackle boxes, and any other "waxy" feeling plastic)), so if you want to glue something to the plastic you need a special super glue made especially for plastics (Loc-Tite Plastic super glue). And since it only includes one small tube of glue, and a nearly exhaustable supply of primer, I should tell you that it does in fact work with super glue brand super glue. It's all the same cyanacrolate. (sp?)

Use "Krylon Fusion" line of paint for spray painting. Or rust-oleum now makes a plastic primer that will allow you to use any spray paint over it.

Absolutely! In fact, ladyada made a NOACp with that case! Here's the link.

The page is a pretty good walkthrough.

Dremel, hot knife (use a torch to heat the knife up), dremel, power drill, your teeth, dremel, exacto knife, your brothers teeth, and maybe a dremel.

I think i'll get some samples too. If not for the project box then for the thrill of opening a box from the mail! (Good old simple amusements!)

i whant to have cartridges and i whant them to go down into a slot instead of sticking out into the air so instead of having it like the game grrl (upright) i am going to turn it on its side and make a cartridge slot that goes a quarter up the cartridge
