Book case

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Well off the top of my head I can think of 3 ways.

1) Glue each page to the page touching it. Would take quite a long time. (Or you could read then book, and cut out/glue each page you read.)

2) Get some of the crap they use to make the spine of books with (Y'no, that gluey/tapey stuff) and put it on the inside.

3) Cut out a cavity then use normal glue.

Or...If the book is going to be closed 100% of the time after it's done....

4) Cut out the innards etc., then staple it together. Then glue the first/last page to the covers when you're done.

But you should really be worrying about building a system first.

A book....right. Well, besides the fact that there are ten-thousand 10X better ways to make a case, its an alright plan...kinda. And after a while of holding it you're sweaty hands will make the book soggy....

If you really want to do it, you would have to coat each page in glue and stick it ot the previous page to get it the whole thing stiff. That might take a little while with a big book. Get one with thick pages.

the way i would do a book case is if its a hardback grab it by the covers and mebe dip half the pages at a time into a resin or other bindign agent, then glue the covers to each half of the book

yeah I was thinking about putting my psonep in a dictionary a while back, I was just going to carve out all of the pages with a razor blade, then shut the book and use my finger to rub glue on all of the pages. It would probably soak in and stick them together

Seriously sock. Before you design a case you should know everything yuo're putting in and hat configuration it has to be in. I hope you at least have all your parts.

It's no crime to plan it, just be sure you built it in the right order.

Sorry if I sounded critical.
