Ps2 hd loader

When i make my custom ps2 i was thinking of buying a 80 or 100 gig hdd and the hd loader or hd advance set. Does anyone know if its a pain in the neck to laod the games onto the hdd or is it easy becuase on the internet it doesent say if its user freindly or not also i heard you have to take the hdd out of your computer and put the ps2 hdd in to format it is this true?

its really easy to use those programs actually, I use HD Loader myself. I dont know about formating the HDD because im using an official HDD

I used a regualar HDD but my dad helped me. Just always check voltages. You never know what sony might do

If your using a different HDD then the Sony PS2 I heard that Seagate are the best and ofter accepted.
