I'm sinking into piles of useless junk Help
He's talking about using something (I guess like foam) that can be molded to any shape. So he wants to use it to contour to his hands for a comfortable grip.
But thats what you make a vacumme mold for.

It's the process of melting a plastic sheet until it sags, then placing it on a form (called a negative? not sure) of the portable you want to make. Then you use a vacuum to suck all the air out betwen the plastic and the form, giving the plastic a near perfect shape of the form. There are lots of links in the Case forum, try looking there on how to make a machine from scrap.
