LED mod for Sony same as MadCatz?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

LED mod for Sony same as MadCatz?

Post by scherzo »

I have a Sony PSOne LCD. I was just wondering if there are any differences I should look out for in the LED modification guide on doomportables. Thanks.

Just make sure you have 3mm or T1 LEDs. 5mm, or T1 3/4 won't fit in the sony psone screen.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Haha, don't worry, gamer. I know what he's talking about. Ben discovered that if you short our a certain resistor or something like that, then the brightness of the screen increases dramatically. He initially discovered this while handling the screen while it was turned on and his finger made the bridge on the correct place on the board. He then licked his finger and tried to find the exact place. "very scientific"
