Gameshark Problems

Post by vb_master »

My N64 seems to have a problem with Gamesharks. I have tried three different GameShark cartridges, and none of them work! I plug it in, plug in a cartridge, then turn on the N64, nothing. Blank screen, no red countdown, nothing! I have the red expansion pak in, should I swap that one out with the original? Thanks guys. I really want to have a functional Gameshark!

Cool. I'll try that. Goodie! I got Super Mario 64 to boot! Now to get Zelda OOT 1.0 to work... What are keycodes, and do I need one to start Zelda OOT?

EDIT: NOOO! I need verson 2.2 or higher to run Zelda! I have 2.1!

if i remember correctly, the n64 gameshark has a parralel port on the back so you can hook it up to the pc to update it.
