Uh, Mod Chip Help

Can anyone help me with an XBOX mod chips, as in which is good to buy (to play emulators), and one that is well good to (play emulators) and run stuff like MAME, and play backed up games. I need help in assembly in selection, I have 60 bucks to buy a chip. Thanks, of course to play stuff I already own, the stuff of my old consoles don't work on my TV that good.

the Aladdin XT is cheap and will get you where you need to go. most premoded boxes come with it. You should be able to find an aladdin for under $20 shipped.

whatever you do, don't get a 'solder free' chip.
you'll end up soldering it anyway, but it won't have the proper pads to do it easily. and they cost MUCH more. The 'spiderchip' is especially to be avoided.

that said, piracy is wrong...officially...
and we're going to need to see those arcade cabinets before you install mame

Thanks Reaperman, nice advice. Why I'm using it is because, the Genesis and NES and SNES don't work on the TV at my house, something about incorrect RF stuff, I called the TV company. But my XBOX works absolutely fine. I just want to emulate the stuff that don't work.

Xecuter, hmmm. Sounds good, what does it modify on the XBOX; I'm sorry if this is noobish, I'm kinda new to the premise.

So thanks to VB_master, I am getting the XECUTER 2.6, from llamma. Thanks guys, now I can FINALLY play Sonic 2 on the 30 inch TV in my living room (in fact which is the only TV in the house, and the bedroom which is forbidden.

)
