If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
A few weeks ago I saw one of those PSone screen and consol packs. It had a sticker on it that said $220, but over that sticker it had a tag saying $99. Here in CANADA, the screen alone costs $200, thats right $200! The PSone consol costed $70, and I got both of them for $100. The package was beat up a little but the stuff inside was perfect! I even chopped up a PSone screen cable and gave it RCA conections! You probably wont find a combo thing at this price again, but I got it at a place called Futureshop (Its so similar to a Best Buy, that I think that there owned by the same company/person.)
Anyway just relaying my experiance.
Broken Ones on Ebay go for a few bucks. I spent $1 in mine because it doesn't accept vedeo unless you use the composite in jack or input directly to the board.
cool, I think i'll try Gamestop tomorrow, my bus drives by there on the way home from college. Then i'll go to best buy, seeing as they are in the same parking lot. I hioe they got it in stock.
