Cheap 6.8" LCD screens only $70!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Cheap 6.8" LCD screens only $70!

Post by HK-47 »

Here's some guy on eBay that regularily sells cheap UNIPAC LCDs for only 70.00! They're 6.8" screens and come with a controller card. Here's the URL => http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopageZ1Q ... propertyZ1
Just scroll down to "6.8" Color TFT-LCD Slim Module UP68D01 Unipac" and there you go. Just thought I'd let you know about this. :D

looks good... he does rip you off on shipping a bit, but it looks like a nice screen. Wonder if it runs off of 5 volts

Has anyone tried this yet? I've been lurking for some time and was curious if anyone has used this in their project. He says he includes a video card for free.

It seems that it moght give the PSOne LCD some competition for mods!

Does anyone know where you can get smaller screens like that, like 3"? Just the screen and controller, ya know.
