SNESp Progress Report and Pics

Post by electromaster64 »

Here is the latest progress on my SNESp. I took Ben's controller schematic and made it fit on two 1.5"x1.5" RadioShack PC boards. The schematic is available at http://photobucket.com/albums/a9/Electromaster64/ I have not tested it yet but as soon as I get my case routed I will give it a try. I should have more pics soon as progress continues.

This is a view from the back.

The wires that go off the screen are the L,R,Start, and Select buttons and the wires that connect to the SNES.

Ribbon Cable, it was a pain because it is so small but it worked great. I am really really not looking forward to relocating my cartridge connectornow. I used speaker wire to do my N64 cartridge connector, but the ribon cable is smaller so we will see.

This is what the finished product will look like. If you want to use this design there is a pic you can print and then just cut the parts from it.
