Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me out with something. I desoldered the plug that goes into the top of the psone controller. It has 8 pins, and I forgot to note where the go on the controller board (I know how they go into the controller port). Can someone open up a controller for me and check it?
Its either:
A) Purple, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Red, Black, Brown, Green
or
B)The opposite of that (connector reversed).
Since I have a 50/50 chance should I just try both ways or would doing it wrong fry the board?
Also the connection to the mobo is:
1 G
2 n/c
3 B
4 Y
5 Black
6 Black
7 P
8 O
9 Brown
Just to be sure.
Thanks
Control connection

Upadate:
I have connected all of the tact switches but none of them work. The analog led doesn't come on either. At first I thought it was the connection from the mobo to the controller board, but I have reversed it with no success. This is how I have them connected, and I do have all the buttons connected i just didn't draw them all.

EDIT: That was my old configuration this is the new (still non-working one).

That is true however I ripped apart the connector that is on the end of the controller and took note of the pins. I think the connector (that goes into the control board) is in wrong. Ill try it the other way. Also, do I have to have the grounds in a complete circuit. If you notice my ground is not a complete circle. I might have to find out for myself.
