Cases

Post by HomicidalBarber »

Hey, I am pretty much ready to start sticking stuff in a case but I dont know what to use, most of us dont have access to a CNC or make a vaccuum formed case. I was going to use this clear tackle box but I broke it and thought I could do better. Plus it was a little big. So, what have you been using? Thanks.

Modify the PS1 case. Easiest, pretty good looking, and cheapest method

yeah I was thinkin about just using the PSone case but then there would have been big holes in the front that I didnt need. I want mine to look alright even though its not a top priority. I did get another tackle box and cut out the hole for the screen and it fits nicely, next im gonna do the speakers and then controller. It is gonna be annoying.

Or you could just use Ben's hand-built method, bend aluminum strips from a hardware store to form the sides, and cut engraving plastic (or acrylic, it's cheap) for the front and back. That's what I'm doing for my N64p.
