voltage question
is there a way i can get the voltage from 7.2v to 7.5v? and is 500mah enough to power the screen if its coming from an outlet?

Ok, first of all, you don't actually need 7.5v to power the screen, 7.2v will suffice. Second, you can't power an unmodded PSone screen with a 500mA adapter, the cathode tube takes up too much power. An LED-modded one will run fine with only 310mA of power though, therefore a 500mA one will work great.

What are you trying to achieve by this? If you have 2 7.2v batteries that you want to use for extra playtime, you would not hook them up in series. If you have 2 3.6v batteries and want to get 7.2v, then you WOULD hook them in series. Here's how it works:
Wiring in series adds the voltage, the amperage is averaged (it remains the same in the case of identical batteries)
Wiring in parallel adds the amperage, the voltage is averaged (again, it remains the same in the case of identical batteries).
