Do you remember the name? And did the PSone have to be modchipped to play it?

Ya, your psone wold have to be chipped....Oh, good thing you said that...I almost forgot that I still have to chip my psone before I finish it. Im almost done, all thats left is buy the screen and wire the controller (witch might never get done because I always screw it up, I think im now on my 16th controller  )

The name of the good NES emu for PS1 is called "It Might Be NES" and can be found here:
http://imbnes.gamebase.ca/
It does work rather well.

What if I booted the Playstation from the GameShark CDX and selected "Run game without codes" and put in the CD-R with the emu on it? (because I don't feel like dealing with a modchip. :P)

Other than that I have everything that website says I need.

I think that might just work. when you put a game into you psone it checks its region and if its burnt. since you put the gameshark cd in it reads that it isn't burn and when you start the game without the codes it dosn't turn off the power...it just runs the game...so the psone still thinks the same game is in.

In the PSP, you use the USB port to transfer data like emulator homebrew and stuff. :D

There was a swap trick with It might be NES and Code Breaker that worked.
I used it for a while for my psone burned disk needs.
Just try to figure out how to swap the disks before selecting start game without the system knowing you popped the cover open.
So far It Might Be NES is one of the best NES emulators, and can play some games/demos that don't work on most emulators. For example: Nullsleep's After Dark. http://nullsleep.com/treasure/after_dark/
