Psone controller help
Ok, after ruining my...15th psone controller today I relised I need some help. How do you solder onto those small leads...there has to be some kind of trick to doing it...they are just way to small. whenever I try and do it I end up soldering some of the leads together and can't get the solder off. I'm at my wits end here

did you try tinning the wires instead of adding a large blob of extra solder?

No on that thing that the ribbon cable plugs into. So for tinning you just coat the wire in solder and then put it on the lead and heat it up? I sure hope that Game stop has some psone controllers left...I think I've bought every oneS q u e e ! wrote:On the chip? Tinning works great for pretty much anything tiny.
**EDIT**
Darn, bicostp beat me to the punch.
