N64 power: ground and negative

Post by omegabullit »

Ok, here is the power circuit I have set up, please forgive the crappy diagram

There is about 3.2v on the 3.3v in, and 7.2v on the 12 in. For the ground, do I jus connect the three ground pins to the Negative on the battery, or is sumthing hooked up wrong. Thanks.

Just hook up the negative end of the battery to any part of ground on the N64. That includes the three negative pins. Or it could be on the strips of metal on the sides of the N64. As long as it's ground.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

What exactly is that power circuit for the 3.3 volt line? Is it a DC-DC converter or something?

The 7.2 goes into the Vin on an adjustable voltage regulator, then the Vout on that goes into a 7805 Vin, and that Vout is givin me close to 3.2 or around there.
