are you using separate set of batteries?
are you using a resistor or voltage regulator?
are you using a 12v - 7.5v car adapter?
I am using a 10 ohm resistor hooked up to the 12v. it is giving me about 7.2 volts to the screen.
how are you hooking up the video?
I just have the composite.

i'm using 1 8.4v battery to power them both and i'm using composite. i'll put a cap on the power line to beef up the quality but mainly because i have a cap to use
(actually i have 3)

Most people just use between 7.2V and 8.5V t power both the screen and N64. Some people use a 7808 or other type of regulator to get the voltage down.
