pCUBE - THE NEW PORTABLE GAMECUBE

Hello guys, i'm new in this forum and this is my first topic and menssage, i'm Brazilian, for a long time i've viewed many projects of portables, always been fascinated with they, also like eletronic, other things and games in geral. I finally got conditions and started my project. sorry for my poor english

Looks awesome so far man! How are you bonding the plastic together at the joints? Plastic welder? Or some other method? Are you going to include battery's?

i'm bonding whith plastic epox glue, that small glue, the plastic is PVC
after i'll reforce inside on the corners with plastic glue
maybe the names of some materials are different

yes, i'll include battery's but this is the big problem that i'm having
i've been reading about it and already learned everything

i intend to use LI-IONS 18650 size, the price of the cells here is accessible for me
but the problem is = i don't have access to the protection PCBs circuits that i need

i want 8 li-ions, 2 parallel and 4 in serie, 14,8v 5000mhA, and that space what's inside on the case, on the sides, are reserved to it, i need the pcb, but i don't know how to get

batteryspace.com and all-battery.com sell everything you need to get setup. One bit of advice I have is that 14.8v is going to be a waste. You'd be better off going with a 11.1v pack imo. As roomy as your case looks I'd say you may even be able to fit a 11.1v setup in there with a much higher mah, maybe 8,000-10,000mah even. That would get you 4-5ish hours of playtime! Just a suggestion.

here's the problem, i don't have a method to pass money to paypal acount
i don't have a credit card

so, 11,1v is a good ideal, but if the mah os this pack decrease to half of the capacity, will the voltage decrease and the system will turn off?
because if the mah decrease to a certain point the voltage also

Thats the only catch. An 11.1v pack will have a voltage range of roughly 9-13v. 9v being fully depleted and 13v fully charged. The stock GC regulator needs at least 10v to power on correctly, however after it is powered on it can go as low as 8v before it kicks itself off.

Whats that mean to you? Well, it simply means that you'll be able to use the full capacity of your 11.1v pack, 100% through 0% charged. However if you turn your portable off when there is roughly 15% or less battery charge left it wont turn back on until you charge it again.

i've been reading some posts, what the cube realy need is amperage

so my pack that i intend to make 14,8v / 5000A
now can be 11,1v / 7500A whith 3 cell in parallel and 3 Cell in série
or 2p and 3s = 5000A and i save money

what can i do to buy theses pcbs?
I don't know what do, i'm depending on that

yes, myself,was to be ready but i don't know when, it's appearing some problems, but ending, I want to take a break for while, but soon i'll return, i'm building for myself and i don't know how will sell beacuse i live in brazil and will be too hard to do it.
