Anybody notice the new homepage? I figured it would suck, so when it told me that I could switch back to my old homepage I just stayed with what I had. Well i go on the other day to find that they permenantly switched it over anyway. well jizz. This change is probably Google's attempt to get into the nice and lucrative social network scene, seeing as how Facebook-like it is. Google Buzz, GMail notifications, and other Google things could nicely fit into the feed now when you check Youtube. They already tried leveraging GMail itself to pry their way into social networking, but that didn't go anywhere, so they have to try something with their current high profile thing.

Lots of ads on the side of Facebook, and most people check multiple times a day, this could be a huge amount of revenue if Google had the ad rights. Even fits in with the whole "don't be evil" corporate policy, seeing how many questionable choices and security problems have cropped up with Facebook.

i'm really not liking this trend of websites giving you the option of changing the way it looks, then taking away your choice not to change and forcing it on you a month later. it really, REALLY kind of pisses me off

yeah I wont see the point of having face book adds when ever I basically check my email, which all those networking site are to me.. another inbox.

Actually months ago I deleted my account off of there and chose to open my forum. Since every one is on face book, no ones ever been to my message board. So I don't start fights and no one posts much as a rebuttal. Plus I post every thing i want... all the nonsense I love me for.

does any one notice that having face book just chokes off information into these pointless little streams of news feeds and complete shallow crap? Basically it's all stats bringing you the same information (plus those adds to meet Christian singles? what the F*UK kind of stat add generator things I want to fuc* a catholic?) that your already interested in. I like hunting through stuff to find new things. Face books just for dicking with your profile 72 times a day. it's like apple computers. there a great shiny idea for a decent machine, however all they do is take up space, all the work is still being done on PC (Trust me I was shocked to find out big animators by far have tossed macs aside awile ago, even so I still have meet die hard Mac animators who do all the tedious stuff you could do on any machine, and there so happy about there new I Mac every year, when every one else just upgrades at fractions of the price) I guess apple is facebook, and the internet is a few less people texting about how bored they are at work right now.

That was a tangent.... the point is, Social networking is to be ignored, seriously they tried to say twitter caused a revolution in the middle east the other day, when in reality it's been decades of problems and an educated mass of out of work lower class getting pissed off, twitter just had news of the cupe first before going to a news service...

Fuel? oh yeah it can quickly be made into Diesel, a bio diesel which can take you around the country on a single tank (Canada west to east, then south to the US, then west and north back to where to started... which a Merc 300d did do, with fuel you can drink) Hemp still contains no drugs (sorry) you can burn it, and you will not dirty your engines... 2000 miles and no carbon deposits...

You can make a house out of Hemp, which is difrent than the plant Marijuhana which can get you stoned and cure CURE your skin cancer.

Youtube's pissing me off because I can't log in without linking it to my email. I copulate hate all these social networking sites linking together and crap. All it's for is so they can get all your information in one place and sell it to marketers and advertisers who eat it and squeeze out a big steaming pile of greenish lumpy crap with chunks of corn in it and call it something hip and sell it back to your fat ass and make tons of money to spend on porn. Who the hell pays for porn anymore?

Could be worse;
After I identified a critical (and completely unnecessary) bug in their propietary WYSIWIG UI, and replyed tersely to their "it's your fault, you didn't refresh your browser" response by isolating the error (in their code) that is triggered by their stupidity, spelling it out for them. Fixya.com has edited most of my replies to be completely wrong, or outright deleted them without giving me the option of correcting THEIR MISTAKES that they are attributing to ME- without actually fixing the damn bug.
