Making Portable :)

Do you have a technical question that doesn't really fit a specific console? Want some general info on electronics, hacking, making cookies, etc? Here's the place to ask! Go nuts.

Making Portable :)

Post by iHackedit »

Okay I want to jump into hacking and start on a portable. I want one at a low cost that is the easiest to build. I want to build a PS2 or 1 or one, would this be a good idea for someone thats new to all this to start off on. I would also do a nes/snes but just point in the right direction please :).
What I know a far bit about:
I know how to solder :).
I know about how resistors, capacitors, potentiometers, LDRs, transistors, LEDs and a lot of things work.

Yeah I read up on all of them in a book and they got stuck in my head and I remembered them all. :)

Start small and easy. Do a Powerjoy or Retro Duo portable (ie a Nes or Snes).

Then dive into a more ambitious project after you have some experience.

Okay. Thanks for the help :)
Edit: Retro Duo it is. If this looks bad after I make it, just bear in mind that i'm only turning fourteen this year :)
