Pirate clones

Post by Sparkfist »

Are there any other pirate clones of video game systems then the Famicom? Like the Sega Master System or any other 8 bit console?

Thanks.

Well I know that the NOAC clones are a great item and that there in a class of their own, but I'm just looking for some other clones. As SMS are not very easy to find I know that clones should be easier to get.

Any links would be great thanks.

So that isn't a regular evision 2? I guess I'm stupid. Coulbn't you find the snes chips and wire them together like kevin horten's atari. It would help to make for really small snes but then again it might be easier smaller and more convient to buy a revision 2. If you're daring you could try modifing the tristar to play snes games.

That one on xinga is a regular snes version 2 isn't it. It looks like one but I may be wrong.

If I remember right, the regular snes 2 didn't have SNES engraved on the front of the case, so I'm pretty sure it's a clone

looks good

Ah, when I start my portable project, I'm definitely getting a pirate one, and a pirate one to keep non-portable, too. I'm guessing that the pirate one has regular screws, and not rivets or "Nintendo screws".
