Almost all epoxies will "work".

But a mulitpurpose epoxy is not going to adhere to a specific material as good as an epoxy that is meant for that material.

But it "probably" would work for small gaps and it "might" be good enough to bond plastics.

JB weld works great. A heads up- NEVER buy any epoxy with "plastic" in the title.

plastic weld epoxy seemed to work quite well for me, smelled god awful tho. they also make some that are specifically for ABS or other plastics
