Hey guys, getting ready to desolder my PS2s controller and mem card slots so i can solder my controller board to the mobo and i was wondering what you guys recommended as the ammount of wattage the soldering iron should use when heating up the solder to desolder it...

Hey,


350 Degrees Celsius is fine. Just do not hold it there (on the pin/solder joint) for too long, or you will burn out all the Flux and possible components on the board too.

The solder recommended, is Rosin Core Flux Solder. Un-leaded.
