Zenith screen help?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Zenith screen help?

Post by metalcookie »

I tested my zenith screen before taking it apart to make sure it's working, and I tried taking it apart and rewiring it but I shorted out the 7.5 v line with GND. I fixed it, but now I get this weird flicker. Everything still works, It's just that it keeps on flickering. If I wire my yobo to it, I can see everything, but whenever the bars move down (the flickering) It sort of inverts the image's colors. Any ideas on how to fix it? Should I remove that capacitor on the 7805 regulator? Whenever I test those 2 lines, it says that there is a bit of resistance between the 2. Did I fry my screen?

EDIT:
 Forgot the additional circuitry, AGAIN. Atleast it still works though
