Anyway I've got a question:
If I hook four of these (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWNX:IT) in series would be enough to power a gamecube and a 3.5" screen for a reasonable time? :?:
Thanks! :D
Yeah that would get you around 2 hours of playtime. But, something seems fishy about those batteries. They are awfully small for their capacity. And 15mm diameter!?!? I doubt it....search for these batteries in google and make sure these dimensions aren't wrong.

Edit: I found 18mm diameter on another site  I'll keep looking. You may have just solved my battery problem for my second GCP

so its actually 18.5mm. Check this out

whoa there! Go to image shack and reduce the size of those pictures. There a lil big

Do the batteries actually come with a protection circuit inside of them???

switch out the laser. Then you will know if thats the problem. Use a multimeter on the "ohms" reading to see if those connections are broken. If they are, then yes, that is the problem.

Also, where do you solder the power for a 3.5" car screen on the gamecube?
thanks

Any 12v line on the board. I typically use the 12v inputs from the power plug.

EDIT

And you did not sand down too much. If that board is not fried, then it will work. The only area that is iffy is those resistors by the regulator board (power board) pins that are on the Motherboard. If you sanded off those resistors then the board won't work.

And yeah, just relocate the 5v sound trace from that infamous capacity/trace and you will have your sound back.

I was looking for another battery charger and came across this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Smart-Charger-14 ... 2611wt_796
and this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Smart-Charger-1- ... 4aa1e46ae7
Would I be able to use on of them with my batteries in Series?

I'm not too battery savy but it looks like both will work. The first one will charge at 1Ah. So I think that means it would take at least 3 hours for your batteries to charge.

As for the second battery, I think the below statement is saying your batteries must be AT LEAST 2.2Ah total, which they are. So this charger should also would. Note, this second charger would charge more quickly since its rate is 1.8Ah.
Battery: 14.8V Li-Ion/Polymer Battery with capacity >=2.2Ah

Someone check me on this, in case I got anything wrong.

Yeah I was looking at the amps to see which would charge faster since the one I have is about 500 miliamps and takes forever to charge.

Also I was modeling what I'm trying to get the portable to look like and this is what I got

That is actually a very clever design! I like it! Might just be me, but it might look even better if you smoothed off those corners or did double corners as seen in sifuf's sixty free lite-R

What size screen will you be using?

Yeah I'm probably going to but I'm too cheap to edit it again.
I'm going to use one of the 3.5" monitors It'll be a bit dmaller than what it looks like in the image but again I'm too cheap to edit it.
