ps2 battery question
if i am making a ps2 portable and the size of the battery is not an obstacle, what is the best battery to use for a reasonable amount of play time, and would i have to hack into the system to connect it or could i just run it in through the regular power cord?

Re: ps2 battery question
If you don't care about size at all, don't go with such a small battery as 5400 mAh. You could easily get around 10000 mAh from a lithium ion or lipo or even nimh since you don't care about size.
Yes, you can just cut up the power cord and wire the battery straight to it or make your own cord so as not to destroy a 1st party power cord.

Re: ps2 battery question
the battery that ben used was the one i was leaning towards. i may or may not get a better one, depending on the price.
to get more play time but not a huge expensive battery, would it be better to wire two of these together?

Re: ps2 battery question
also, i wasn't talking about destroying the power cable just so i could have a plug, i meant running the battery through the whole thing so i don't accidentally fry the ps2.
