Another utterly pointless topic, you really do enjoy them.

If you want to get more battery life out of your Nomad, don't use it for as long...

1. use longer life batteries

2. possibly.

3. Get an AC adaptor or build an external battery pack like I did for my GBC (4 times the life! :D)

We do console mods, and pretty much the only thing the Nomad is good for is the case. Search or check doomportables.

actually, it's not that pointless.....he just wants to play his nomad longer, that's all (I know I do!!!)....IFR, I'd suggest removing the backlight that's in there and using two leds wired in parallel...to wire them up attach a resistor (27 ohms, I think, if both LEDs use 3.6v@100maH) to the positive lead of the battery input and attach the other end of that resistor to the positive lead of the leds....then simply connect ground and it should work :)!!!!

i've seen batteries with 52,000 mah. you could get real long life out of those.
