The zigzag line is the schematic symbol for a resistor.

So, a 680,000 ohm resistor.

what would you recomend for the 8 pin pdip ? and the 14 pin

also could i just use different 220uf capasitors (non-ceramic ones)?

1. I advice you that to use the ceramic ones since they do not have a polarity. They are important only at relatively high frequencies like the signals of red, blue, and green

2. The 7404 is an inverter http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-p ... /7404.html

3. The EL1881 is an IC VIDEO SYNC SEPARATOR 8-DIP so it can work on the green channel http://www.ortodoxism.ro/datasheets/elantec/EL1881C.pdf
