PSP ds style clam shell case

Im making a psp laptop. I plan on make a clam-shell design for it (obvious). I was wonder what would be the best kind of plastic to use for the sort of mod? TO make the case I am vacuum forming it.

If you are vac forming, you will want to use 14 gauge styrene plastic.

You will probably get more results searching .080" styrene plastic. (Sorry.)
Near NYC? No clue, but most plastic suppliers ship wherever in the lower 48 for a flat rate.

.80 is the same as 14 gauge, in order words?

No, .080" is.

Sorry, but that type of typo is critical. .8" thick would never vac form.
